Cowgirl Thank Yous

Our family was invited to a cowboy party a month or so ago. I had such fun getting our costumes ready but that is for another post. (I made felt cowboy boots and hat for the baby; he looked ADORABLE!) I made thank you cards for the organizers using a girlie version of the cowboy theme.

The papers are from Webster’s Pages Western Romance collection. The rose is a Spellbinders spiral flower die.

The rose is sponged with Tattered Rose Distress ink. I usually find it too dull for most things but it matched this paper perfectly!

I used Unscripted Sketches #164. Guess what? I won #163 with my orange and turquoise stars card! Yeah!

Fabulous cards! I love the aqua and pink boots. This is really a funky combination that really works - boots, lace and a rose...

The lace on your second card shifts the style to "funky vintage" (hey, that could be a new style). Well done. So glad that you decided to use our Unscripted sketch for these creative cards :)
